On Monday, October 3, 2011, the Myrrh Streaming Icon of the Iveron Mother of God and its guardian, Reader Nectary came to visit us at T.H.E.O.S. Reader Nectary told us the story of how he discovered the icon streaming myrrh in his home and how he now travels with it everywhere it goes.
He also explained to us that we were very blessed to have this icon visit our school, because he does not choose where the icon goes, the icon chooses where it visits and it chose us on this day!
Before we left the icon, we all had the opportunity to venerate it and be blessed with the myrrh that is continually streaming off of it.
